DESCRIPTION:‘Sponsor’ A Share of Veggies or Soup this Year!\nHeart & Soil Collective is a Berkshire County nonprofit that feeds people\, supports farms\, and connects the community through agriculture. Since 2021 we have paid farmers $60\,830\, delivered 3\,529 bags of free veggies and 600 gallons of soup directly to seniors and families. \n  \nThe need for access to fresh food is growing across the Berkshires\, and so are we! \n  \nOur Community Produce & Soup Programs serve seniors\, families and small farms across Berkshire County:\n\nWe deliver free\, fresh produce purchased from local farms and soups made with local ingredients directly to homes across the Berkshires.\nWe pay partner farms full price for produce \, because farmers need to be paid.\nWe deliver to seniors through partnerships with Councils on Aging.\nCollaboration with seeing rainbows allows us to provide free\, local food to members of the trans community.\nThrough Pediatric Palliative Care of Hospice Care in the Berkshires we provide free\, fresh produce and soup to families receiving their services.\n\n  \nEvery $100 raised covers an individual share for one month\n$300 pays for an individual veggie share for twelve weeks\n$600 provides free\, fresh produce to a family for twelve weeks\n  \n  \nDonations can be made online through our campaign ( https://fundrazr.com/campaigns/52gtZ4 ) or by visiting: www.heartandsoil.org/donate \n  \n Check donations can be mailed to: \nHeart & Soil Collective \nPO Box 619 \nLanesborough\, MA 01237 \n  \nThank you for choosing to be part of paying farmers & feeding your neighbors this year. DESCRIPTION:Join Heart & Soil Collective and Berkshire Community College for a Farm-To-Table Cooking Class Thursday\, April 30th from 4-6PM! This year in partnership with Berkshire Community College we are launching a series of cooking classes to help connect the community to the land where their food is growing\, provide hands-on tips for cooking with local ingredients and opportunities to enjoy fresh\, local food together. Classes are free but space is limited. (Registration link coming soon)\n\n\n\nGrant support through Grassroots Fund\, United Way and Pittsfield Cultural Council/ Mass Cultural Council is making this series possible.\n\n\n\nOur Guest Chef for April is Jake Levin\, The Roving Butcher\, who will share tips for preparing different cuts of meat purchased from local farms. Join us in the kitchen!
