‘Sponsor’ a senior
Heart & Soil Collective’s Community Produce and Winter Soup Programs provide free, fresh produce purchased from small farms and hearty soups made using local ingredients directly to seniors and families easing food insecurity, building community, decreasing food waste and helping support Berkshire County farms. We are seeking support from local businesses and individuals who want to help provide food security programming by ‘sponsoring’ a senior.
WHO WE SERVE
Our Community Produce and Winter Soup Programs serve seniors, families, organizations and small farms across Berkshire County. See who we serve below:
- Delivery directly to homes in Lanesborough, Pittsfield, Dalton and Adams (with more towns to be added each year)
- Collaboration with 18 Degrees Family Resource Center in Pittsfield
- Delivery to families receiving services through Pediatric Palliative Care/ Hospice of the Berkshires
- Berkshire County partner farms include: Holiday Brook Farm, Bittersweet Farm, Rock and Root Farm, Windy Ridge Organic Farm, Full Well Farm
THE IMPACT
Every $600 raised provides free, fresh produce directly to a local family for the season, every $300 covers the cost of providing weekly soup to a senior. All donations are tax deductible and help fund food security programming.
